Sherika Lockhart
“Sherika is a 2010 graduate of FIRE School of Ministry who moved to the Philippines in April 2011. Her heart is to be a part of the community based in Davao City helping to mentor, teach and raise up Filipino missionaries to be sent throughout the island of Mindanao and neighboring countries.”
When I was a little girl my mom would take me to the library and encourage me to pick out fun books to read. One of my favorite things to do was get caught up in a world of wonder and adventure! I fell in love with the ocean at a very early age and one of my hearts desires has always been to travel and see the world!!
When I gave my life to Christ at the age of 25 so many of my dreams started to come true!!! He called me into the life that I had only dreamed about, a life of love and adventure through Him. Since giving my heart to Him I have traveled to 7 different countries, swam with whale sharks, rode an elephant, snorkeled in crystal clear water, made friends all around the world and experienced the greatest love that I’ve ever known!!!
I currently reside in Davao City, Philippines as a missionary to the Filipino people. I teach at FIRE School of Ministry Philippines and I am on prayer staff with Global Impact Philippines! The Lord has blessed me to work with two amazing ministries that allow me to function freely in two of the areas that I am passionate about and called to: teaching and prayer!
